The Authenticity Gap: The Brave Space Between Who You’ve Been and Who You’re Becoming

If you’ve been in my world for a while, you’ve likely heard this before - or perhaps even said it to me yourself:

“You’re exactly the same in person as you are online.”
“You’re so authentic.”
“You’re just real.”

And honestly, I love hearing that. Because I value truth. Depth. Resonance. It means the world to know that what I share lands with you as real.

But lately, something curious has been unfolding.

Not just for me - but for my clients, my community, the women I walk beside every day.

We’ve stumbled upon a space few people talk about.

The gap. The sacred stretch between the version of you who’s practised and known…And the version of you who’s arriving.

She’s more expressive. More courageous. More visible. She’s saying yes to massive opportunities - often without certainty, but always with full-bodied trust. She’s holding deeper conversations. Leading braver work. She’s stepping forward, even if her voice shakes.

And in that space, it can feel unsteady. It can feel confusing. You might ask yourself…

Am I faking it? Is this really me? Can it be authentic if I’m still learning how to be her?

Here’s what I’ve come to know:

Authenticity isn’t about staying the same. It’s about being devoted to your evolution. It’s about being honest about where you are—right now—even if it’s messy or in progress.

Sometimes, that means showing up in the wobble. Sometimes, it means going first. Sometimes, it means speaking before your voice feels steady.

But this… this is the real work.

Right now, I’m in it.

Massive opportunities I’ve dreamt of for years are suddenly landing in my lap. And I’ll be honest - It’s stretching me. It’s challenging me. It’s calling me to rise and still be me in all of it.

I’m living it. I’m teaching it. And I want to hear from you.

Have you felt the Authenticity Gap? Are you walking that brave space between who you were and who you’re becoming?

What’s shifting for you?

Reach out - I read every message myself, and I’d truly love to hear your story.

We’re in this together.

With love,
