I still remember the day the lotus bell tent arrived.I’d saved every spare cent I had.I couldn’t afford a fancy venue - but my whisper whispered loudly:

“Run a retreat, Dizee. Gather the women. Work your magic. Let them experience it.”

Of course, the wounding showed up too:

“You’re not good enough.”

“You can’t afford it.”

“You don’t know how.”

“No one will come.”

But the whisper stayed steady.

“Do it, Dizee.”

So I listened.

I set up that tent in my backyard.

It was muddy. Raw. Humble.

And then… she arrived.

The first woman.

The first one to have that moment.

Her real homecoming.

The moment her entire body exhaled and she finally let herself be seen.

That was it.

I knew the whisper had been right all along.

I had to find a way to keep doing this.

Since then, I’ve walked through fires.

Rites of passage. Initiations.

I’ve wanted to quit more times than I can count.

For years, I ran them solo - before Michelle joined me.

But I kept going.

Now, years later and over 20 retreats in, we are known globally.
