If you secretly feel safer around men than women… It’s costing you dearly.

Updated: Aug 19, 2025

This week’s Sister Share lands on a tender topic.

One that’s raw, real, and quietly running the show for many high-achieving women… If you secretly feel safer around men than women, or spend more time in your masculine energy … avoiding your feminine essence, you’re not alone.

But I want you to know, it’s costing you dearly.

Over the past several years of doing this work retreats, circles, and coaching containers, I’ve seen the pattern over and over: Women avoiding other women.

Competing.

Comparing.

Betraying.

And underneath it all? Fear. This isn’t natural.

It's learned. It’s a by-product of generations of survival, scarcity, and social conditioning that told us we had to choose between being liked, being loved, or being powerful. It’s no wonder so many of us grew up thinking other women were dangerous.

But it has to change.

I’ve seen firsthand what the sisterhood would create: the isolation, the burnout, the loneliness, the constant feeling of not being “in” enough, “good” enough, or “safe” enough.

And I’ve also seen what happens when that wound starts to heal.

When women stop shrinking or competing…

and start rising, together. It’s not easy.

But it’s necessary.

And it cannot be healed through textbooks or solo journaling. It takes other women.

Women who can witness you. Hold you. Reflect your brilliance back to you, without flinching, without fear.

So I ask you gently today: What do you have in your corner?

And what’s your relationship with sisterhood right now, wounded, healing, or rising?

Hit reply and let me know. I read every message.

In sisterhood always,

Di x
