Have you ever forgotten to hang the washing out and had to wash it again?

I reckon every single person reading this email has, at some point, done a load of washing… then gone off busy building their life or business… and completely forgotten to hang it out.

Only to come back later and realise it’s gone smelly.

And now it needs to be rewashed.

This used to happen to me all the time, creating constant pressure & frustration, leading to exhaustion.

It doesn't happen anymore

...Not because I became more disciplined.

Not because I tried harder.

But because I created a simple rule that stopped it from happening in the first place.

And here’s the unexpected part…

That one change didn’t just stop the rewashing.

It stopped the pressure.

It quietened the self-doubt.

It softened that constant voice in my head telling me I had too much to do, that I was behind, that I should be managing life better.

It removed a layer of overwhelm

I didn’t even realise it was there.

It also allowed me to set up a solid, shared routine in our home.

Now my son hangs the washing out.

My daughter brings it in.

I fold it.

And everyone puts their own clothes away.

What used to feel like a massive pain in my backside is now a smooth, systemised rhythm that just happens.

And because of that, we have more space.

More energy.

More capacity to focus on the things that actually matter.

This is one of the simplest, most effective strategies I teach.

And honestly? Most people will discount it & won't bother because it feels too easy.

THAT'S the point! We’re sharing the basic rule &  exact shift in our "Clean up the chaos" workshop. And here’s the fun part…

So tell me…

Have you ever forgotten to hang the washing out and had to rewash it... or chuck stuff out cause you couldn't get the "wet dog' smell out of it?
